On The Road Again
Yes, we’ve packed the Jetta full to bursting and we are on the road again. This time it’s a two month fund raising road trip. We started our trip with a stop at the Assemblies of God church in Tok, Alaska. Our three MK’s really enjoyed the two PK’s. We all enjoyed...
Carter Family Update
Since several of you have asked about us, I thought I’d write an update. As many of you know we feel called to Japan. It all started several years ago at our annual meeting in Malaysia. We were at a morning prayer session where we all prayed for God to send...
Looking Ahead
Now that Lindsey is doing better, we are looking ahead to the future. We thought we’d share with you our game plan. Currently we are enjoying the Christmas season at home with Lindsey’s parents. In January, Chris will return to the Philippines for two and a half...
Saying Goodbye
Our blog has been sadly neglected as we have had so much going on and a lot of medical problems. In fact, Lindsey’s heart troubles eventually lead us to saying goodbye to the Philippines and returning to the US on a medical leave. The doctors in Asia made it sound...
Students
Beyond lecturing in the classroom, we have the unique opportunity of spending time just getting to know the students. Each week we host a student/faculty home group for a time of prayer and fellowship. We also have a lot of social events, like the new student dinner...
Christmas in Baguio
We spent our second Christmas in the Philippines last month. It was an eventful holiday season. It all started with the APTS candlelight Christmas service. Unfortunately, we missed this one as Lindsey was having surgery in Manila, but the kids attended and performed...
November
November was a hectic month for us. Life always gets busier for us toward the end of the trimester. Our calendar included the usual stuff, some meals with campus visitors, home groups, Bible club, and classes. It also included special holiday activities, like our...

Typhoon and Troubles
Things have been a bit crazy around here. We've battled a few illnesses. Hudson had yet another bad tummy bug. Poor little guy! Plus we've been passing around a cold. We also have had computer troubles. Chris' computer got a worm. I never even knew that was possible!...
Faculty Retreat
Last weekend was spent at the beach. The faculty had their annual retreat in San Fernando, right on the South China Sea. Here's a look at what we did when the faculty weren't in meetings... Swimming in the pool (this is a favorite with the kids) Playing in the sand...
Reaching the Never Reached of Japan
We also have a passion to reach kids and their families. Every month TICA does a special family service that has interactive experiments and activities geared toward kids and those hearing the gospel for the first time. We also have a weekly play group for moms and their preschoolers, and we hold regular community and family outreach events that feature our BGMC flying saucer! Learn more here.
Reaching the Never Reached of Japan
THE NEED
Over 99% of the people of Japan DO NOT KNOW JESUS. They are part of the Never Reached.
HOW TO HELP
PRAY CONTINUALLY
The only way to truly reach the people of Japan for Jesus is by preaching the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit and by prayer and fasting. As a result, we need prayer partners. Will you partner with us by committing to pray for Japan, for workers in Japan, and for us?
GIVE MONTHLY
Your faithful support ensures that we can continue to pursue the ministry God has given us.
- Work & Ministry Expenses
- Housing and insurance
- Food and clothing
JOIN US IN JAPAN
We are looking for people to come and be a part of our team! We are serving in a country that is less than 1% Christian, yet has very few missionaries. There are so many opportunities that we need all the help we can get! Please prayerfully consider coming for a short term or long term missions trip to Tsukuba, Japan.
